Is there a way to remove all of the comment header “bubbles”? My node network is pretty dense, and it’s impossible to make sense of anything when I zoom out with these bubbles covering everything.
Not that I know of. But I dislike working in a single graph a lot for a while now.
I started doing a ton more macros, functions and collapsed graphs. Maybe that could help you as well? There seems to be a lot of similar code.
Hmmm. I’m a novice at all this. A lot of my blueprint work is trial and error, so being able to view it all in one place helps me.
Yea but for example you have in that picture 4 times “N/S: Which side is empty?” and “E/W: Which side is empty” with something around 8 nodes or so.
You could make a macro for those two… oh no actually three checks. Inputs / outputs exactly so that you can plug that into the “Exec” line and have one node later the result.
Whatever is exactly encapsulated (a bit of functionality that needs a couple of nodes but does a single thing) you can without really thinking about it collapse it to a macro / collapse nodes graph. Basically that macro then functions like your comments right now. You can also add comments on single nodes so you’re not really losing anything in terms of oversight! It just looks smaller and cleaner!
UE 4.18.2 and it’s harassing “bubbles”… I am split between these 2:
