Remote packaging project for iOS from Windows takes forever

Trying to package a project from Windows that includes ARKit, therefore using remote connection to my MacBook.
As far as i can judge everything is set up correctly, output log says build succeded with 0 errors - but after

“UATHelper: Packaging (iOS): [Remote] Downloading E:\Unreal PRJ\ARkit\ARkit_Handheld_01\Intermediate\Remote\ARkit_Handheld_01\IOS\Development\Manifest.xml”

nothing is logged anymore and UE just stays on “Packaging project for iOS” without anything happening.

I’m guessing it has something to do with ARKit and the remote connection but so far i haven’t been able to find any solution online.
Running UE4.22
