Before the year ends, we would like to share a few reminders:

The Megascans library on Fab.com will no longer be free after December 31, 2024. We encourage you to claim all of these assets before the end of the year so that you can retain access to them, benefit from any updates to them, and keep using them in your projects beyond 2024. The license that applies to these assets is the Fab Standard License. Check out our FAQ for information on how Megascans will be priced starting next year.

The legacy Megascans library on Quixel.com and Bridge will no longer be available for free after December 31, 2024. After this date, you will only be able to access assets that you have already claimed – you will not be able to acquire additional assets from the legacy library. We encourage you to claim the legacy library now so that you can continue using these legacy assets and working with your customary Quixel/Bridge workflows. The license that applies to these assets is the Epic Content License.

If you use Bridge, you will be able to continue using it beyond the end of the year. Only when Fab offers a replacement to Bridge that offers similar functionality, will we discontinue Bridge.

Beginning January 1, 2025, we will offer a selection of 1500+ Megascans assets for free on Fab.com. These free assets will be available under the Fab Standard License.
If you or your team has a custom Studio license:

You can continue to access the legacy Megascans library under your custom license terms via the usual channels: Bridge and Quixel.com.

New and updated Megascans are accessible through Fab.com, and the UE and UEFN Fab integrations. If you would like to access Megascans through Fab, please reach out to us at Megascansupdate@epicgames.com so that we can activate it on your account.
