I know there is a free animation pack available for the third person skeleton on the marketplace, but what about the default first person view Arms skeletal mesh, is there a pack of anims somewhere targetted for it?

I would download the shooter project. It has a bunch of first person animations in it.
Instead of using fps arms you could also just create something like a “real fps” view -> so with a 3rd person mesh instead of just arms 
Then you could use the animations from the marketplace
