I have the same problem only with Ocean project and together ( No change if I use the Transparency node in the Ocean material)
some of the quad components of the landscape disappear how I move the camera…
happens in all the version of with trueSKYUE4Plugin_4.1x.1_4.1.446_x64 onwards
in UE 4.13 and UE 4.14

Also there is one more problem. When is enabled then object preview will not work in Content Browser. Only every third object will render and other thumbnails will be Black.
I am also getting , suddenly, since updating to the latest TS plugin using OceanProject. Honestly, i would rather toss the ocean in the trash then since ocean hasnt had an update in forever from the devs that were working on it. I think 4.10 was the last “official”? Maybe 4.12 … either way …
I have been searching for a new ocean since the current one eats a TON of resources even to load a flat plane without all the fun stuff enabled.
Last official Ocean is 4.12 but there is unofficial 4.14 branch.
is fast fix for ocean plugin shader until fix rendering bug:
Just open ocean shader that you are using e.g. M_Ocean_SSR and set opacity to 1.0.
Do for every other Ocean shader that you are using like M_Ocean_Ultra.

problem with - ocean looks terrible with opacity set to 1
resolves issues, but, looks terrible.
Terrible = the tops of the waves are clipped and fully transparent when viewed from a small distance.
To resolve the problem with Ocean and the last build, go to in BP_Ocean -> Planar Reflection component -> Scene Capture and in Hidden actor add yours landscape

I have been playing around with and am very impressed! One thing is bothering me though.
I can not get the clouds to cast shadows.
is a bit frustrating because i have seen many videos displaying and it looks great! And I (think) i have done everything as per the starter Tutorial. Have i missed anything?
I would be overly grateful for any help!

I am not able to get the cloud shadow to draw.
-UE4 is .1 and branch of .
-CloudShadow render target is applied to Cloud RT slot in the Sequence Actor in the scene
-I can change the cloud settings, play, and see the CloudShadow image changing as clouds move, but I don’t see it applying to the sun light and casting shadow on the terrain.

Apply the light material to the light itself - im not at my computer right now so i cant give screens or exact. Light function material? I know there is one in the folder that needs to be added to the sun/moon for it to work.
Needing a little help with some weather …
Anyone got a random weather working? I downloaded the sequencer, and, it seems its dead. Not sure, but, i can (of course) use the in-game one (or in the plugin). The weather isnt random at all when added to sequencer in the plugin. It happens at the same time “every day”.
Looking to get a random setup, i looked at Arks BP setup for (holy … mess). They are using matinee to accomplish on a randomized timer (between X and Y time).
Is pretty much the method? Can we use the sequence on a random? if rain = true then load rain cloud sequence (or whatever)
Had anyone gotten random sun/rain working? If i have to cut the rain out and keep the dark lower clouds and add in my own particle effect, thats fine, but, seems to be proving to be a massive pain in my *** with random weather.
I compiled the latest for 4.14 (and the last four versions) on my custom engine. I get an error that says

I reverted back to the old version I’ve been using that worked perfectly and I don’t get the error. The path to the D3D file is the same as the old version, so there is no reason for it to randomly throw a missing file error. Anyone else on a custom built engine getting the error?
should be right approach, you’ll create weather sequences and then just blend them randomly. So make a sequence where it ALWAYS rains and then just blend at random times to that sequence. Do the same for fog/foggy, snow etc…
On a sidenote: i just wanted to download the latest version and noticed they removed all downlinks but for 4.13.2. Anyone else having that problem ? i got a version for 4.14 a downloaded a while ago but not sure why they removed all newer versions.

I also see all download links removed except for the 4.1 download. Very strange, i was just on there a couple days ago and was able to see them all.
I keep checking for a new version as my sun is all jacked up, and, in editor the sun projects a “light cylinder” from sun to ground. Just seems to get more and more messy every fix.
But how do you blend? is how ARK is doing but ARK did changed the source so they have 4 active seuquences and blend factors between them.
You can have only one active sequence at the time? If you switch sequence to rain one you will just instant jump to the rain.
You’ll switch the active sequence but define a fixed translation time in the actor. Maybe you had it set to real-time.
