Taking HD screenshot in the editor dosent work with 4.14. I only get pitch black shots.
Interesting, like results from pressing PRINT SCREEN?
I havent noticed any issues, i use that all the time with Skype to send screens to my programmers. Also, using SNIP TOOL is way more effective if using from the editor and not in any play mode.

+1 for the ugly black seem in 4.14 when using godray
1-5 to 1-10 runs results in crazy colour times. All landscapes and objects etc appear to get the colour of normal maps etc. Its becoming un usable
Removing the skylight seems to temp fix it. I dont think the skylight works well with pbr either, makes normal materials really shiny.
Happened for me as well. I reported it but they couldn’t seem to figure out why. Previously I could change settings to get rid of it but that doesn’t work anymore.
starting to feel sad with the lack of support - is there a better place to get support?

why the hell dont i see the moon ??! its night time, i set the texture … no freaking moon!
if I add texture to my moon and hook it up to my second directional light in a blue print, it appears to work for me.
I have another, in which I emailed aswell. I have a persistent level with no true sky nodes activated. I have four levels. Only the last level needs … but true sky shows up in all levels ugh. Any advice guys?
edit: my temp work around was to toss the form my level and add it to the persistent level. I then just kill the actor in my persistent level blueprint, upon changing my level. My case is specific, I am using a different sky for other levels. I think if I implemented for all levels, and just used blue prints to change values I would be fine in the future.

Just found plugin. Can you make your own clouds in it or are you stuck with what they give you?
The moon can be tricky. I set the Moon Albedo to 0.136 and the diameter to 5.9. Gives you a nice big moon! Also, I set the start date to 25/03/2000. Moon comes up around 2 am ish. Try that to see if it helps. Your moon maybe there but just really small by default.
Are storm and beams supported on UE4? Can’t get it to work.
Also, it seems like SetPointLightSource is not working (as well as SetPointLight). Anyone was able get it to work?

I’m wanting to have my player start from high above the clouds and fall to the earth, also a flying mount is in the works, so I’m hoping I can figure out a fix for .
Other questions - I can’t seem to get point lights to interact with my clouds - like tracer rounds or meteors falling from the sky. Is supported?

Just a heads up for anyone doing work for VR - Switching to the forward renderer will cause the cloud shadows light function to stop working.
It is mentioned in the 4.14 release notes that light functions aren’t currently supported but it caught me out.

Try to play with params in sequence player actor - some should help (in my case).
We are switching from 4.13.2 to 4.14.3 version of UE4. And now I have problems with and Ocean plugin.

4.13 was working ok. I have tried 6 different version and still no result. Ocean is not rendering or having holes when is enabled.
Last checked version is: trueSKYUE4Plugin_4.14.1_4.1.496_x64
Ocean plane is clipped when camera is near ocean and its working ok when camera is far from ocean. Maybe its not visible from shot but terrain (ocean floor) is 5 meters away from ocean surface so Z fight can’t happen.
If I set to not visible then Ocean is rendering ok. So is messing up Ocean plane is some way.
And of course, trueSKYTransparencyModifier node is added to ocean shader.
