Hello,
The last build ending in 283 fixed the I was having with the sun. A see 3 new issues that I didn’t have in 4.11.
When the sun sets, the lighting is acting up. There isn’t a smooth transition to night - it’s like the light-switch was turned off. I can still see the sun and the landscape isn’t receiving any lighting. (See attached image)
The default size of the stars is bigger than before but I believe that can be fixed via tweaking a setting in the TrueSkySequenceAsset. If I’m wrong, please let me know. By the way, I think the sky is gorgeous during when the sun is setting.
At certain angles, my textures give off a blue-ish tint. (See attached images).
Sun is still setting and landscape isn’t receiving any light -
Sun is still setting and landscape isn’t receiving any light, another view -
Stars are bigger than normal, not sure if is a bug or not -
Blue tint to the landscape -
Same hill, different angle and no blue tint -
I take it you are on the branch?
If so, it is undergoing some changes currently which could cause problems. You can ‘fix’ the stars if you go to the TrueSkySequenceActor and find the new Star Pixel Size setting. Just lower that.
I will make a note of your problems though and see if they’re still there when the changes are finished.
