Do I need to sign this release form when monetizing videos made using UE5?
Going to release a game with the same project in 1-2 years but for now will render scenes from the game that will be movies that will be monetized.
You should consult a lawyer regarding legal advice, however I can give you unprofessional advice on how this has been handled on my end.
I create Unreal Engine tutorials on YouTube which I monetize to earn something from my work. I have not filled in this Release Form for my videos. I have however released a game on Steam; since I am releasing a project or game, I filled in the release form.
I suggest looking closer at the EULA - Unreal Engine.
