[RELEASE] Camera Render Studio

[RELEASE] Camera Render Studio — Professional Projection Rendering Plugin for Unreal Engine

Hi everyone!

I’m happy to introduce Camera Render Studio, a professional projection rendering plugin for Unreal Engine, designed for realtime preview and offline production rendering workflows.

Camera Render Studio brings together the best ideas, workflows, and rendering approaches from my previous products: Camera 360 v1, Camera 360 v2, and Camera 360 v3.

Over the years, these tools evolved through real production use, user feedback, and many different rendering scenarios. Camera Render Studio is the next step in this evolution — a redesigned and expanded solution that combines the strongest features of the previous Camera 360 versions into one modern plugin for Unreal Engine.

Camera Render Studio is built for artists, studios, VR creators, immersive installation designers, dome content creators, archviz specialists, and virtual production workflows that require advanced projection rendering directly inside Unreal Engine.

Try the Demo Version

A demo version of Camera Render Studio is available for testing before purchase.

You can use it to evaluate the main projection workflows, Movie Render Queue integration, realtime preview, and rendering features directly inside Unreal Engine.

The demo version is intended for workflow testing and includes a watermark on rendered output.

Main Features

Projection Modes

Camera Render Studio supports multiple projection types and advanced projection workflows:

  • 2D
  • 360°
  • VR180
  • FullDome
  • Spherical Mirror
  • Cylindrical
  • Mono and 3D Stereo rendering
  • Custom Projection creation
  • nDisplay Room Generator

The plugin now includes tools for creating custom projection setups, allowing users to adapt rendering to unique screen shapes, projection mapping tasks, immersive installations, and non-standard display environments.

It also includes an nDisplay Room Generator and Movie Render surface rendering workflow.

Camera Render Studio can quickly generate an nDisplay configuration from the created room layout and display surfaces.

In addition, the plugin supports rendering directly from these projection surfaces through a dedicated Movie Render pass inside Unreal Engine Movie Render Queue.

Supported Rendering Workflows

Camera Render Studio is integrated with Movie Render Queue and supports production rendering directly from Unreal Engine.

Supported image sequence output formats:

  • PNG
  • JPG
  • BMP
  • EXR

In addition, Camera Render Studio can be extended with the Codec Bridge [Video Format] plugin.

The additional Codec Bridge [Video Format] plugin allows you to convert the final rendered image sequence into the required video format after rendering is complete.

Video conversion is performed through FFmpeg, allowing output to formats such as:

  • MKV
  • MOV
  • MP4
  • MXF

Additional rendering support:

  • Cryptomatte Object ID EXR
  • Actor Layer support
  • Stencil Layers
  • Tiled Rendering Mode
  • Realtime Preview

Stereo Rendering

Camera Render Studio includes stereo rendering support with flexible stereo output formats:

  • Side-by-Side
  • Top-Bottom
  • Separate Left / Right output

Stereo settings include:

  • Dynamic IPD
  • Eye Convergence Distance

This makes it suitable for VR180, 360 stereo, immersive stereo video, and projection-based stereo workflows.

Unreal Engine Rendering Support

Camera Render Studio supports Unreal Engine rendering features such as:

  • Path Tracing
  • Lumen
  • Nanite
  • Niagara
  • Bloom
  • Fog
  • Post Process effects

The goal is to keep the final render visually consistent with Unreal Engine’s standard rendering pipeline while adding advanced projection output options.

Projection Examples

360°

A full spherical projection that captures the entire environment around the camera.

Useful for:

  • VR content
  • Virtual tours
  • Panoramic video
  • Interactive environments
  • Immersive media

VR180

A mono and stereoscopic 180-degree projection for VR headsets and front-facing immersive experiences.

Useful for:

  • VR video
  • Immersive storytelling
  • Presentations
  • Stereo front-facing content

FullDome

A hemispherical projection designed for dome screens, planetariums, and immersive installations.

Useful for:

  • Dome theaters
  • Planetariums
  • Simulation domes
  • Immersive projection environments

Cylindrical Projection

A panoramic projection designed for wide horizontal environments without full spherical distortion.

Useful for:

  • Architectural visualization
  • Wide-screen environments
  • Immersive display walls
  • Panoramic production

The projection supports adjustable Horizontal FOV and Vertical FOV.

Spherical Mirror

A projection mode designed for dome systems that use spherical mirror setups.

Useful for:

  • Dome projection systems
  • Simulation installations
  • Custom immersive display environments
  • Projection-based installations where standard dome mapping is not suitable

Demo Version

A demo version is available for testing Camera Render Studio features before purchase.

The demo version is intended for workflow evaluation and includes the main projection modes, but rendered output contains a watermark.

Engine Support

Camera Render Studio currently supports:

  • Unreal Engine 5.7+
