My last project got rejected at publishing stage for the reason 1.13 (https://www.fortnite.com/news/fortnite-island-creator-rules#1.13).
I don’t see how the thumbnails and/or lobby background break this rule. Can someone tell me what’s wrong precisely ?
Unless theres too much glow under your big thumbnail weapons ???
What does the langauge translate to mean ?
Could it be anything in your description ?
Nikudansen (melee fight):
The mail talk about a promotional image not being authentic… it’s a screenshot of the island.
Wepon’s image are from ingame.
That’s a bit unfair… not authentic… maybe it looks too good… needs a muscly AI Grinch and Santa…
Or maybe it’s because the project’s name is MeleeVSGuns, which was the initial idea, but I switched to melee only and the moderator thought I lied on the thumbnail ?
I don’t think it would be that, I have a different thumbnail name to project name
Did you try to appeal? I wonder if more information is provided or it could be approved.
I guess there’s a good reason, but there’s no detail about it. In one of my previous island it was because I used screenshot from ingame footage where we can see some UI text and it’s forbidden to use Fortnite font in thumbnails, even for 2 small characters behind the title.
Text looks a little bit like a tag in the second image.
Island accepted after appeal without any change by me and no answer by Epic… I don’t understand what happened. I hope Epic will make things more clear in the future.
Thanks anyway.
Maybe looked at by a human after an appeal
