Right so im having an issue in 4.20 with reimporting, it was fine before but no clue what has happened, so when i click reimport, it says “Failed To Reimport”, so i try again and it either says it again or instead it opens up the file explorer to select a file to import, this usually only happens when its source location no longer exists but in this case it still exists, so i click on the same asset that im trying to reimport in the file explorer and click open (to reimport this file) does nothing at all, doesnt update the file with new version and also get no messages or anything, basically nothing happens. Also if i do a fresh import of the same file, it imports the updated version but if i try reimporting that file (bare in mind that when you import something it automatically stores the source location for reimporting) it does the exact same thing and breaks. This only happens on this project, every other ue4 project is fine. Also if i click “Open Source Location” and the source location is on the local server (Not my pc) it does nothing, but if the source location is on the local version (one on my pc which is a exact copy of the server version but the local one) it opens the source location (this is just another issue im concerned about, could be related not sure). Also if anyone knows how to get more information onto why it failed to reimport, cause all i get is “Failed To Reimport” with no info on why it failed cause nothing goes into the output log or message log so if anyone knows how to get more info please let me know cause it might help tracking down the cause of this. Also curious if any of you guys have ran into this issue before.
