Hi is it possible to reimport a previously made Scan with multiple UV tiles (udims). I have seen posts from a year ago but they did not seem to have a solution. I basically made a mesh from my scan which I then retopo and UV map in ZBrush and MAYA. However when reimporting the model the error comes up, that u or v is bigger than 1. If I place all my UV shells in the first tile the model imports fine

I can’t really help you with the issue, since you managed to import it, did that not solve your problem?
Or do you definitely need several tiles?
thanks for the awnser. I was hoping for a UDIM import as this would allow bigger texture sizes then having one 16k texture.
As I said, I am not very firm in this area.I thought RC can also create larger tiles than 16k but you’ll need to check that. And if it can handle it, it should be able to import it…
well the settings dont allow me to choose anything bigger than 16k but as you mentioned in the other post the biggest problem is perfect alignment
