How does the sort of the translucent materials in the same mesh line up in order?
When looking at a translucent material through another translucent one in the mesh I created, some parts in back are displayed in forefront. (UE4.6.1)
For example, when making a material of the standard chair mesh translucent, it looks like the attached image.
I thought it looks that the opacity setting has an effect on it regardless of the sort order because opacity was 1. However, it looks like the matter of the sort by each component.
Adam, did you find a solution to this problem? I’m stuck with the same issue here.
Would be great if someone can drop a hint! I’m thinking of trying the new translucency sort feature of 4.7 but I’m not sure that will work as I hear that feature is intended for 2D games.
I’m also running into this problem. I even see sorting problems in the material preview when I create a translucent material and check the 2-sided option. Is this a bug in the engine or is there something we’re missing?
