hi, I’m trying to make a distortion effect, but whatever I do, refraction doesn’t change anything for me, no matter what parameters I enter, nothing happens.
I even tried to repeat the materials from the refraction documentation, but it either doesn’t work anyway, or the object becomes completely transparent.
I also tried pixel normal offset, but it didn’t change anything either.
I’ve tried to repeat a lot of guides, but the problem is always the same, refraction doesn’t do anything.
Maybe it’s some kind of global setting that I’m not aware of, or is it the unreal latest version problem?
That’s the problem, the object is just transparent. there are no reflections on it, I’ve tried doing things with normal maps and many others, but the object is always just transparent. Am I missing something?
