I’m testing your application, wich seem to work a lot better in some reconstruction than photoscan, but I wonder how to reduce the size of the obj file created at the end of the process.
I’ve tried 4096 or 2048 texture maximal side, but nothing happens. Always more than 1 gig file.
Could someone help the noob I am, please ?
its beacause you exporting original reconstructed model
go to RECONSTRUCTION and use SIMPLIFY tool to reduce the polygon count of the model.
you want to export it to Sketchfab or ?
the polygon count depend on where need use the exported model.
For online like sketchfab its ok with say 500k triangles
if need postprocess and clean it in say Zbrush then its OK with up to 15 mil triangles…
