Red tint in viewport and builds | UE-5

Everything looks red after a driver update on HP EliteBook 840 G8 Notebook PC with intel Intel Iris Xe Graphics. After a driver update upon opening the unreal engine, I was promoted with a dialogue saying “Known Issues with graphics driver”. The recommended version also has the same issue…

I have tried the following driver versions from OEM and the intel website

and all of them have the issue.

The issue is related to the SKYLight component. Changing the Source type under the light section from SLS captured scene to SLS specified cube map removes the tint. Changing the viewport preview rendering level to Android ES31/Vulkan or iOS also removes the red tint. The tint occurs under Shader Model 5.

The issue was fixed after downgrading the driver to win10_100.9316.
