Red mark (bone) on skeletal mesh preview.

I tried to modify Metahuman body geometry.
My steps are:

  • Export m_tal_nrw_body to fbx
  • Import fbx to Blender
  • Modify geometry (delete some faces)
  • Export from Blender to fbx
  • Import to UE via

It seems, that all working correctly, but strange red mark on skeletal mesh preview appears.

What is it?

re-import it with skinning weights included fixed this for me.

but after you do that you also need to refresh the content browser folder view (I did it by clicking into another folder and coming back again) because for whatever reason it did not refresh the view to get rid of the red bone warning after re-importing. had me confused for a bit.
