Hi there, I’m trying to recreate my room in Unity. I got all the dimensions in cm. Lets say I wanna create floor with is 161 cm wide in some point. I just drag BOX from BSP and I tried to change the x or y (whatever) value under the Brush Setting but after typing 161 there my box is soooo small, its definitly not scaled in cm. What scale should I use or did I miss something?
Character size, eye height, FOV all affects how a player perceives the world. Collision of the player can also make things appear smaller, you can try to adjust this as well.
Also, real life measurements can look weird inside a game. Sometimes it is better to exaggerate dimensions. Popular example is the Half-Life 2 doors. They are actually way too big, but they feel right at a glance and when you go through them.
