is it somehow possible to recover project? My problem is that I would like to export final mesh from the project but meanwhile I deleted some of the source (pictures, scans) data so the project can’t be opened even deleting of source data should have effect on the project it self.

If you just need to export data and not reconstruct them, you need to create the missing images. Use Photoshop to create one image with the same resolution as used there. then open the *.RCPROJ file and copy out the filenames and paths. then you need to multiply the (own created ) image in proper count and with proper names. Take a look at Total Commander, it’s very powerful in doing this sort of work…
Or…
delete all missing items in .rcproj …

I highly recommend you to NOT delete any stuff from the *.RCPROJ file… it’s info on cameras etc.
So take a look at it and solve it as I have described… we use it this way…
