Hi,
I am trying to reconstruct a set of 7000 images taken with a Sony Alpha 7RIII compressed in JPG. I am using the RC version 1.0.3.6310. My computer HW specifications are:
Computer 1
- Processor: AMD Ryzen Threadripper 1920X 12-Core
- RAM: 64 GB
- GPU: GeForce GTX 1080
- SSD: Samsung SSD EVO 1TB
Computer 2
- Processor: AMD Ryzen Threadripper 1950X 12-Core
- RAM: 64 GB
- GPU: GeForce GTX 1060 6GB
- SSD: Samsung SSD EVO 1TB
I am using the program since several month (6 months) and lately I am having many problems to run the reconstruction process.It gets stall during the Depth Map calculation and never finishes the recosntruction or the texturing.
The program seems to stop working because it is not demanding any resource from the PC and stays like this forever (more than 3 days in some occassions). This is happening at different computers and with different RC Projects and it is making me lose a lot of time.
I am not reconstructing the hole area at once but small Reconstruction Areas and the problem appears as well.Furthermore, this problem also appear in other datasets completely differnt.
I have repeated the process many times, I have cleaned the cache, installed the latest drivers…and there is not robust sollution to it.
I has been working from time to time (1/10) but this is a comercial software and should be way more robust.
I hope you can help me to solve this issue ASAP. If you need more info please let me know.
