Recommended way to model this large object please

I’m trying to model an airfield which includes large areas of concrete runways, tracks and parking areas. The total area is approx. 2km x 2km. Would the Unreal engine have a problem rendering a mesh that large do you think? Would a combination of spline roads for the tracks and runway with added static meshes for the parking areas be a better approach than one large static mesh?

Would be great to have some advice please. Thanks!
