I’m looking to replace my trusted ThinkPad P17 gen2, which, despite its power, is starting to have some hardware issues and is a bit too heavy for my current needs (around 4 kg with a 17" screen). I’ve always been a fan of ThinkPads for their overall quality, but I’m now looking for a lighter model that remains just as powerful for demanding work on Twinmotion ,Unreal Engine and Allplan.
My budget is arround 3400 euros, and I’m prioritizing a laptop that doesn’t overheat. I’d love to know what you think are the best laptops on the market today for this kind of work. What models do you use and recommend?
