Recall Decal Projection on master material

Hello people!

I’m in desperate need of help, I hate how decals work in unreal and cannot use it for a job I am doing, however I was wondering, would it be possible to recall the projection from the decals to the material itself? So that I could, say, position the decal actor in my scene and place a node that is able to recall it and output the uv coords of it? So I could simply plug it on my texture uv’s and get it applied?
Would it be too much to ask for ? haah
