I’m writing a mod that will rebalance the kibble tree. I’m new to modding and I’m wondering if best practice would be to edit the core game files that handle these values or create copies in the mod folder and remap the spawning to the copied files. Ideally I want this mod to function with other mods. Any suggestions are welcome.
Only edit things in your mod folder. Use children when appropriate, and remap items in your PrimalGameData.
