A visual effect to simulate rain water splashing and running down a vehicle's windows.
Simply place the effect over a window and multiple splashes and drips will be generated. In addition, attach the wiper effect to your vehicle's wipers and rain particles will be removed in their path, along with additional wiper streak VFX.
Hello, I just purchased your work. Since I can’t access YouTube, I’m unable to view the demo. The windshield rain effect works fine, but when I attached the wiper mesh to my wiper model, it didn’t produce any effect. As a beginner, could you please provide a tutorial?
Hey there. I bought this content and looks great in my Unreal project. The only part not working right is the wiper streaks and I couldn’t find the solution: the streaks are emitted in world space so long ribbons generated along the movement of the vehicle. Switching “Streaks” emitter to local kills it. In stationary it’s obviously fine.
(On the image a pawn attached to the sample vehicle and they are moving forward. No other mods are made on the sample project but making streaks stronger to see them better.)
Not mission critical, rain looks great but it would be great to get help/feedback on it. Thanks!
