We are a visual effects and production house based in Milan. We provide the in- ternational market with high end vfx services. We are a looking for an experienced real- time r&d td, with a particular focus on engines such as Unreal, for an exciting virtual real- ity project. Duration of the project is estimated in 12 weeks and is scheduled to run from August to November.

Realtime R&D TD:

Position Summary:
Will be contributing to the development of a realtime pipeline integrating 3d pack- ages and Unreal in a unique workflow.
Must be able to develop customised tools to improve both the workflow efficiency and the quality of the project.
Must be familiar with writing UE4 plugins.
Be experienced with blueprints and their implementation.
Good Knowledge of Houdini and/or Alembic data formats.
Under the direction of a dept supervisor he/she will be able to meet the production needs, with a positive attitude and creative flair.
Must be a team player with strong communication skills.
Will work in an artist oriented and friendly environment.
Must be able to work well under pressure and open to work flexible hours.

Requirements:
• 2+ Years in vfx production or game development industry.
• Good knowledge of Unreal Engine source code.
• Programming knowledge of C++ and Python required.
• Good experience with Maya, Houdini, or Max plugin and custom tools scripting.
• Familiarity with technical workflows of real time technologies required.
• HLSL programming experience a big plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Graphic Arts, Computer Science, Engineering, or a
related field preferred.

Senior Realtime R&D TD

Senior Realtime R&D TD:

Position Summary:
Will be leading the development of a realtime pipeline integrating 3d packages and Unreal in a unique workflow.
Must be able to develop customised tools to improve both the workflow efficiency and the quality of the project.
Must be familiar with writing UE4 plugins.
Be highly experienced with blueprints and their implementation.
Deep Knowledge of Houdini and/or Alembic data formats.
Will focus on optimising visual quality vs performance issues for realtime playback.
He/she will be able to meet the production needs with a positive attitude and creative flair.
Being able to realistically assess time needed for a given task is key. Must be a team player with strong communication skills.
Will work in an artist oriented and friendly environment.
Must be able to work well under pressure and open to work flexible hours.

Requirements:
• 4+ Years in vfx production or game development industry.
• Deep knowledge of Unreal Engine source code.

Senior Realtime Environment Artist

We are a looking for an experienced environment artist, with a particular focus on realtime engines such as Unreal, for an ex- citing virtual reality project. Duration of the project is estimated in 12 weeks and is scheduled to run from August to November.

Senior Realtime Environment Artist:

Position Summary:
Will be responsible for modelling, sculpting and texturing of environment assets.
Accomplished at scene building and set dressing.
Able to contribute to the artistic development of environmental elements using Substance Designer.
Under the direction of a project supervisor he/she will be able to meet the production needs, with a positive attitude and creative flair.
Must show an exceptional artistic eye to create dramatic and unique assets using both hard surface and sculpting techniques.
Problem solving and strong communication skills are key.
Being able to realistically assess time needed for a given task is key. Must be a team player and enjoy mentoring junior level talent.
Will work in an artist oriented and friendly environment.
Must be able to work well under pressure and open to work flexible hours.

Requirements:
• 3+ Years in vfx production or game development.
• Deep knowledge of Unreal Engine.
• Thorough experience with Maya, or other modelling package.
• Good experience with Substance Designer and/or Substance Painter a huge plus.
• Knowledge of world building softwares also a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Graphic Arts, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred.

Senior Realtime Lighting TD

We are a looking for an experienced lighting td, with a particular focus on realtime engines such as Unreal, for an exciting vir- tual reality project. Duration of the project is estimated in 12 weeks and is scheduled to run from August to November.

Senior Realtime Lighting TD:

Position Summary:
Will be leading the development effort of both shaders and master lighting setups.
Will be in charge of developing physical based shaders and optimisation within UE4.
Develop technical and aesthetic approaches to define the lighting design of each scene in accordance with the visual targets set by the art dept.
Deep knowledge of both real-time and pre-rendered lighting approaches (dynamic, baked, HDR lighting ) is key.
Will contribute to the development of lighting and volumetric effects such as god rays, glows, flares.
Will setup post processing generics such as colour correction, exposure, bloom.
Under the direction of a project supervisor he/she will be able to meet the production needs, with a positive attitude and creative flair.
Must show an exceptional artistic eye to create dramatic and unique lighting setups and have great technical skills.
Problem solving and strong communication skills are key.
Being able to realistically assess time needed for a given task is key. Must be a team player and enjoy mentoring junior level talent.
Will work in an artist oriented and friendly environment.
Must be able to work well under pressure and open to work flexible hours.

Requirements:
• 4+ Years in vfx production, game development, or architectural visualisation. • Deep knowledge of Unreal Engine lighting and shader systems.
• Good experience with Maya, Houdini, or Max with a solid understanding of lighting, shading networks, and texturing.
• Good knowledge of basic theory of light propagation and light-material interaction a plus.
• HLSL programming experience a big plus.
• Knowledge of physical based lighting systems and software based renderers such as
Vray, Arnold o Prman preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Computer Graphic Arts, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
