Hi, I’m using Character Creator 4 to export character skeletal meshes to UE and everything works except the control rig. I wish to migrate the standard UE mannequin control rig to CC4 character, but due to different number of bones, I get errors, e.g. there’s no spine-04 bone resulting in the mesh being deformed in default rig position. Does anyone know how to create a control rig for a CC4 character or how to fix the manny one?
did you figure that out? My cc4 character is ripping from the middle in the control rig
I just use the official UE4 mannequin rig from Epic - the skeletons are mostly compatible.
so I import the ue4 rig to ue5?
Stuck in the same boat. Can you elaborate on how you fixed it?
Also having issues, mostly with wrist and hand deformities when retargeting UE4 mannequin animations onto the CC4 character that was exported with the UE4 skeleton.
If you don’t mind, please share how you fixed your issues. $300 software and it can’t even do it right and Reallusion support is of no help.
