RealityScan 1.3 is now available.
What’s New
-
Auto-Capture
Tap the capture button once to enter auto-capture mode, which takes photos for you automatically as you move around the object. Tap the capture button again to exit auto-capture mode. -
UI/UX improvements
Improved viewer navigation, including helpful guidance for first-time users and a new layout for viewer actions in the Capture view. -
Improved automated cropbox
When you send your scan for processing without cropping it first, the resulting model is more focused on your subject, with less of its surroundings included. -
Unguided mode
Turn off Live Guidance in the Settings to avoid uploading photos as you scan, and to disable live guidance features like real-time point clouds and preview models. This replaces the previous Offline Mode option, and offers a more streamlined workflow for users who don’t need live guidance. You can still send your scans for processing as normal when you’re finished capturing. -
Advanced navigation viewport controls
Two-finger pan, double-tap to zoom in, and a new Reset View button to center the model. -
Faster processing
This release also brings the latest improvements in RealityCapture processing, providing faster model reconstruction and texturing.
Bugs Fixed
