RealityCapture corrupted

My RealityCapture is not working. It asks for a license activation key every time I open the application. From there, it allows me to add images, but I cannot do much else after that. When I try to align them, it says “the validity periods of the certification chain do not nest correctly” and when I press start to process the images, it says “access denied”.
Randomly it will say components of RealityCapture is corrupted and automatically closes the application. I have tried to uninstall and reinstall the application after restarting my computer, but I cannot get it to work. I have no idea how to get this to work or what the problem is, but this PC nearly brand new. Any help or tips would be greatly appreciated

Hello,

Which version of RealityCapture do you have?

Here are some fixes for this:

FIX 1:
Uninstall the older version of RealityCapture, and make sure that everything connected to that version is being removed (even from the registry).

FIX 2:
Remove the device from the Domain Controller and uninstall it and remove it from the registry, after new installation and online activation it may work.

The time may be a problem because it can be managed by the organization and I can be different from the official time in 1 sec approx.

FIX 3:
Make it like a clean install (hold CTRL + Shift and run RC, then choose to “Make it like a clean install”) and use Offline activation.

FIX 4:
Check if RCNode.exe is blocked by the system firewall. Then go to RC install folder and start RCNode - Windows shows firewall notification and accept it for all networks. Additionally, you can start RC as admin and in general settings do license change → application owner resign in, also charge for offline use sign in again.

FIX 5:
This issue might be connected to some really old files located in the C:\Program Files\Capturing Reality

Please try to uninstall RealityCapture then head to C:\Program Files\Capturing Reality and delete everything you will find about RealityCapture also in ProgramData, AppData, and Windows registry. Then restart your PC and try to install RealityCapture again and run the same test.

FIX 6:
Rebooting (and allowing Windows to apply an update) cleared this in my case.

FIX 7:
Make sure that your Windows OS is legit, and that it was installed properly.

Im having the same issue after uninstalled and re-install in a different drive unit.
I have tried all the options for solution posted and still having the same issue.
Please help.
Version: 1.2.2.116899, OS Windows 10

Hi Maverikhp,
when you will try to install it back, then it is still there?
Which of the mentioned errors do you have?

Yes, i went thru couple of unistall, re-install process, the alignment goes well, but when try to create model im getting the same error: “The vlidity period of the certification chain do not nest correctly”
Last thing i did was to, instead of installing in a particular folder directly in the different drive (diffrent to C:) i use the folder structure: Capturing Reality\RealityCapture, and looks like is working properly so far, i haven’t finished to process the project im working on. I will kep you posted of the progress.
