Hey guys, after seeing the update notes i had to try and see what i could do with the skin shader in UE4, all the other materials are just placeholders to put the face in context but i have to say i am really surprised how easy it is to set up the skin shader and to get decent results, next i will probably figure how to make decent eyes in UE4, anyway let me know what you think.
The setup is just a basic diffuse/gloss/normal material with the new subsurface scattering profile applied, i am thinking of going in and adding some fresnel and fuzz into the material to get closer to a more natural skin.
Man, this is great!!!
I would suggest a stronger normal map influence ( just a tiny bit ) and a better shader for the mustache and sir, you can fool anyone that this is a real picture
