Hello,
I am new to unreal and trying to figure out virtual production. I have a project where I am trying to take a camera input and composite it in real time using composure.
We don’t have the budget to get those huge led walls so we are sticking with the traditional green screen. I’ve done some tests (like composure quickstart for example) and done research but I have yet to figure out how I can get shadows in real time.
I have a project with a basic composure setup.
I have a media plate taking input from a media player (cause I am testing at home. The end result will be taking a camera input using blackmagic capture card).
I also have a foreground elements with some standard objects and background cg elements.
Is there a way for the foreground elements to cast shadows on the background and media plate, and the same for the camera feed in the media plate so those elements don’t appear to just be floating?
I appreciate any help.
