hi just downloaded new version of unreal engine UE4.24.2 and it crashed if I create a gaming project with RealTime RayTracing
My graphics card RTX2060…(running on Windows 10…updated)
it works fine if real time ray tracing is not selected but crashes everytime when Real Time Ray Tracing option is selected.
I use Geoforce Experience to update my drivers and looks like it is updated.
Do i have to specifically go to Nvidia s web site and download latest drivers for D3DX12 drivers…because error message are related to it.
Any ideas, advices I would really appreciate…I like the engine and want to work
thanks…
Salim
Hello, I have the same problem. My notebook rtx2060 agrees to crash
I have the same problem
FIXED IT
So i think i just figured it out
For some reason changing it in nvidia control panel doesnt affect the editor it will still launch with intel i guess
So what works for me is:
C:\Program Files\Epic Games\UE_4.24\Engine\Binaries\Win64\UE4Editor.exe Right click and run with High Performance NVIDIA
Hi, I have an Alienware M17 with rtx2080 Max-q, I tried this solution, and It still crashes when I try to move around after importing anything using datasmith with raytracing on. I have also installed the latest 442.19 Nvidia studio driver.
