I spent some time debugging why Reality Capture 1.4 Real-time assistant won’t work by default for me.
From windows “Resource Monitor” I discovered that there was already a service listening to port 8000. For me it was Visual Studio’s extension called Incredibuild, more specifically the Apache - httpd.exe(in the Task Manager), the coordinator UI port.
I do not know if there is a way to change the port inside Reality Capture, but if there isn’t one, I wish it were under the Real-time assistance settings section.
Thought I would just put this out here for anyone having a similar problem.
