The Re-zero option when inside an animation that puts the root at 0,0,0 wherever you’d like in the animation doesn’t work, only worked for me once.
This would be very useful as then I can see the animation in game in frame of my camera and see where I want the character to stand, then adjust the zeropoint of the animation.
How do people go about slightly adjusting where the zero point of an animation is? I’d like to adjust it slightly when seeing it in game to get my character to look well-placed in the frame of the camera. Exporting to Blender and doing it there is both inefficient and inaccurate as you don’t have the same camera angle etc. and you would have to check the adjustment after importing back to unreal.
This would be especially important when testing what part of my motion captured animation looks good, and moving the zero point to check different parts of the animation while keeping the character in the right position in the camera.
I feel like maybe there is an easier method for this that has been discovered.
