I accidently detached the details menu from sidebaron the editor, then when trying to get that back I detached the world outliner. I understand that you can go to “window” and select them there but the do not come up on the editor. in fact they don’t come up at all. when I hover over the editor icon in the task bar , I can see both details and outliner there next to the unreal icon on the task bar. but hovering over them or clicking on them does nothing. doesn’t even bring up the detached window. I can only “X” them out and go back to “window” , and select them. then they only end up on the task bar again as like an icon , that I can do nothing else with. am I missing something? did I break something?
ok , I got it back with " reset layout".
originally when it happened , I was trying to edit interp to movement component duration for all the same actors at once. but it doesn’t look like there is a way to do it.when you select all same actors , components are then not accessible in the list.
Thank you so much, reset layout worked. But I fear I will have to do this every time I open the editor.
Popped in from the future to say: right click on the tab → “Dock to Sidebar”.
