Hi all,
I am stuck after many attempt on a solid machine where I updated RC to the last version, I opened an old project PPI. it run smoothly, I’m able to render Mesh Preview on all the componments. but when I redefine a reconstruction box for a Normal or High Detail process, It crash after 15/28sec. I check the log, nothing wrong.
I tried to go back on previous version but project canot open on old version.
Last Nvidia Studio Drivers.
Win10
128Go
CPU1950X
RTX3080ti.
Any help most than welcome !

do you have this project still in previous version or you just resaved it?
Is there some kind of error showed after crash or just RC is turned off?
Is this also happening after application reset (open RC with pushed SHIFT and choose the option Make it like a clean install)?
Is there a difference when yo are placing reconstruction region in full or other model?
Can you try make a copy of the project, delete some models and then try compute a new one?

thanks for you feedback, right now I am dubbing the proj on another PC even more powerful to see if this is the machine.
For the rest, let me investigate.
- The Machine just freeze. mouse, screen, all … need a hard shutdown .
- No error at startup or log.
- I crashed on many attempt of different Box and models, so it seems global
- I did RC desinstall , reinstall (+ old version), including Nvidia drivers.
- The project has been resaved on previous file, was not expecting this bad surprise.
- I hope to make it run on the other station, if that’s the case, it will be a PC fault !

Project don’t crash on i9 13thGen 128goRAM and 3090 … at least I have a solution !! May be AMD CPU1950X problem ? I think I have to go through a clean install …
Yes, it could be the issue there, as CPU is also used in the reconstruction.
