RC won't let me show multiple images in the two 2D views

hi all,

previously when assigning control points I could bring up 2 2D views and have different images in each view so I could keep one as my reference image showing control points, and use the other view to scroll through my image/scans and match the control points. currently, RC isn’t letting me do this, if I have 3 windows (2D, 2D, and 3Ds) open and drag an image into one of the 2D windows, BOTH 2D windows then show that image. In previous projects I was able to have different images in each 2D view. I am trying to insert control points to help align some photos to a laser scan, but I can’t unless I can see the two images at the same time. Is there a setting somewhere “locking” the 2D views that I can change? I am at my wits end trying to figure out what is going wrong…any help will be appreciated. This is so I can manually place control points across components to try and merge them into one during alignment.

Cheers

Hello,

This could be a solution to your problem:

Color cursors are used to assign a certain color to the view and input.
