That seems slow, but it can really depend on a lot of things. Is this the alignment process or the mesh creation?
It is mesh creation in normal detail
I let it run overnight for 10 more hours and it is still not done
I’d recommend clearing aborting the process, clearing your cache, & trying it again. If that doesn’t work than Reality Capture support can probably help you out better than I can.
Hello,
Based on your PC specs that number of images should be processed in a matter of seconds.
There are several possibilities, but it is hard to say what may be causing this. My first assumption was that there are misalignments in your point cloud which RealityCapture is not able to process. Was reconstruction finished already? If not, or maybe you noticed before, during which process of the reconstruction was it stalling? Did you check Console view while it was reconstructing?
The other assumption is reconstruction settings. Please hold SHIFT on your keyboard and run RealityCapture. This will open a Reset window with a dropdown. Choose ‘‘Make it like a clean install’’ and click on the Reset button. This will reset RealityCapture, and you will be prompted again. Now try again.
Also, are you able to process other image sets? For example, there are some Sample Datasets on our site which can be freely downloaded. Can you please try with one of those? You can find them here:
