RC keep crashing after opening Bundler file, opening RECONSTRUCTION tab and selecting Preview.
Hello Magda,
what version and license of RC do you use? Can you please send us more details about the project and how it was created? Possibly if it is not a lot of data, can you share the file and images with us?
Hi Zuzana, I just send you requested data to ticket@capturingreality.com
Thanks for responding, Magda
Hello Magda,
thank you for sharing the files. Is your scene georeferenced in WGS84? I believe this is the problem, in the Bundler file format it is not possible to include the coordinate system of the tie points into the file therefore RC expects that those are in cartesian coordinate system. Currently it is not possible to import it correctly in WGS84.
Do you need your scene to be georeferenced? If there is demand for it, I will forward this request for discussion so that there could be some option to define the coordinate system when importing.
In the meantime, you can exclude the georeferencing from the scene and export the cameras in local coordinate system. In this case RC should properly load the Bundler project.
I can’t get that to work…
I exported Bundler project with cameras in local coordinate system. Then i also set Local coordinate system in RC. After that i load Bundler project but nothing happening. I have images in 1D view but nothing in 3D view.
I don’t understand why.
Hello Magda,
can you please try to use “Reset view” in the 3D SCENE context tab?
Hi Zuzana,
After ‘reset view’ grid disappeared, nothing else is happening.
Please try to clear the referencing from images and align without the GPS information. It should work in that way. If you just change the coordinates to local, it should work as well but when loading to RC, model can be shifted from grid plane. But you can adjust it via Define ground plane function.
