RC into Autodesk Revit

Hey all,

I’ve just recently started using RC- I have to say it performs far better than some of the other programs I was using to turn my drone based photogrammetry data into working maps for construction purposes.

However, I am running into a problem that I’ve had a hard time finding any solution to… or even a hope for one. When I go to import the .dxf file created by RC, Revit throws an error “Import detected no valid elements in the file’s Model space. Do you want to import from the Paper space?” (Screen Snip attached) There’s also no data in the paper space, as reported by Revit.

I’m looking to use the maps for toposurfaces and for rendering purposes within Revit. I’ve successfully converted .xyz points into .rcp (via ReCap) and can use that for placement and scaling, but I’m a little stuck 'till I can figure out how to get a solid model into Revit for the next step.

Does anyone have a functional workflow they’re using to go from RC into Revit? Or any tips on Exporting .dxf files into Revit?

Thanks so much!
