I was wondering if any developer could provide a bit more detail around this new feature:
Model processing & tools’ improvements:
Much higher quality model computation (zero: non-manifolds & holes)
I started reconstructing a project in high detail this morning, I cancelled it so I could run it with the new update at lunch after I updated the software.
My personal projects are all interior models and I was curious how this new feature will help.
I am not a Dev (obviously) but it basically means it creates watertight meshes. Holes should be self-explanatory and the non-manifold you can search the web for. It’s some technical flaw in a mesh with either too many or not enougt edges on a vertex or something.
My question to the Devs is:
Was the non-manifold-ness responsible for tiny holes after simplification?
