Raycast detects a hit when the collider is far away

I have a ai car road system using the chaos vehicle, using a raycast i check if a car has another car infront of it and if it should stop when the raycast hits, but when i move the camera away from the road system the car raycast hits another car even though the raycast is far shorter than the distance between the cars,

Pls show the blueprint where you do the tracing.
