A move took me out of the picture for a while so I haven’t been on the forums. Go for 8 bit .tiffs, not 16 bit as the latter isn’t supported by RC.
If you’re hard up on attaining a RAW program, ‘Capture One’ is just as good as LightRoom, sometimes better (I use LR with a bit of C1…) and there is a full version that is a lot more affordable just for Sony RAW files.
If you need any other help just say so, I work almost entirely with Sony cams (a6000 and a6500) and couldn’t, at first get the same hit ratio with my RAWs as I was with JPGs. The right tweaking though and you’ll outpace the JPG results in no time.
