Ravine is an expansion of my previous one day project Clover, using Houdini created assets with pivot painter exported to Unreal Engine, to create this environment I created the terrain as an ultra high poly mesh in Houdini and did all the plant scatters there before exporting as alembix point clouds for instancing in Unreal with PCG. This scene runs real-time on a 4090 using hardware Lumen and my own Cinematic Lens Flares

This was such a dreamy and beautiful project. Totally blown away by the wind moving individual strands of grass. It felt like a trailer for the best movie of the year was about to drop. How long did it take you to create this?
