After days of preparing my asset, I got denied twice…
Once because, the guidelines are not clear so I didn’t submit a proper file structure, fair enough, however I can’t just resubmit, I have to redo everything. So I’m like okay, I figure all that out and redo everything.
And then denied again because of this BOGUS reason:
“- Not enough content. All products submitted to the Unreal Engine Marketplace should contain enough content to provide significant value to customers.”
HELLO? I’m a regular customer of the market and I’d be interested in buying myself if I didn’t make it. What the hell kind of reason is that. Have you even seen all the low quality on the market?? A lot of purchases I’ve regretted because they don’t even work that well.
It is a simple asset that a lot of work went into it. And it’s very useful in my own game.
The reason I decided to bother is a developer friend saw it and right away told me to put it on the marketplace, and I was surprised there wasn’t anything like it on there, and because it was simple enough I thought I could.
Just really disappointed and mad over my experience - as a regular in the community, as a regular marketplace customer, as someone who uses Unreal Engine ALL THE TIME. Really doubt I will bother again, even though I have other assets I wanted to submit as well. You have the marketplace review process to thank for that! If I do it will be somewhere else.

BY THE WAY lol …still never got my t-shirt from that swag event. 
Have the badge, but no swag. Like what’s going on? Why are these things being done so badly? Kinda joking but kinda highlighting a continuous problem.
