Random walls and items hidden

So we have a Revit 2022 with direct link on.

We notice that when syncing, random walls, windows will be hidden.

Is there a reason why this would be happening, like as in something we are doing wrong in our workflow?

It's quite difficult because this one is a large project, so every sync, we have to double check that all the elements are on by default rather than hidden.

Thank you for posting your question in the community. I would recommend you make sure you are using the latest Datasmith Exporter plugin, which is 5.0.3 and can be downloaded here: https://www.twinmotion.com/plugins/revit

When exporting it is importing to have a 3D view setup with the correct phasing and graphic display so all the correct element come in. Maybe creating different export views and using Direct-Link (For the primary Architecture) the udatasmith format (For Exterior, Furniture, Lighting, etc..) would help since it's a large project and would minimize updating time since you can have more control on what gets updated. This will depend on the type of project this is but might give you a direction and idea to follow.

Basically it was user error :(

I'm using Scene States. I hadn't realised before but if the sync process happens while a scene state is unticked, any new geometry imported will be hidden by default.

Pretty neat.

So yeah, if anyone else stumbles upon this - make sure the scene state is ticked and all new geo will import with the visible state :)

Thanks Vincent though, I've installed an updated plugin as I forgot that I might be running an older version.
