Rain particle system not appearing in game, only in editor

Are you sure you didn’t ticked EditorOnly somewhere?

So I’ve seen quite a few posts about this issue, I’ve tried all of their solution but it still does not work.

Both the rain particle system and the ground splash particle system aren’t working.

I’m using the rain particle effect of soul city and attempted multiple different method to make it work.

  1. I’ve attached the particle system to the level itself (through a blueprint actor)

  2. I’ve attached the particle system to the character

  3. I’ve created a rain particle system from scratch and it still does not work.

  4. I’ve attempted to adjust the bounds, change size, change scalability settings and made the material 2 sided. None seem to work, not sure what I’m missing.

I’ve added the same particle system to another project and it seemed to work. Does anyone have any clue as to what the problem may be ?

Ticked editor only ? Where is that option ?

oh, the “is editor only” option is disabled.

Try changing spawn collision handling method to always spawn.

Are you sure all kinds of collision are disabled?

I’m running out of ideas so I searched this site and found Force GPU Particles to render? - FX - Unreal Engine Forums Maybe this will help you?

Its set to always span ignore collisions

I took some screen shots of the game. I was thinking maybe it could be something from the world outliner thats messing with the particle system ? Imgur: The magic of the Internet

I’m pretty sure collision are disabled, I’ve also try fixing the bounds, still isn’t working. Would you mind taking a look at the game ?

I saw it’s attached to the character what if you deatach. Will it work?

Is your game settings on Low, Medium High, Epic, or Cinematic level?

in LOD try change LODMethod from automatic to Direct Set
