Ragdoll bugging when simulating physics

After my character dies I set the mesh to simulate physics and it glitches out a little and looks nothing like when I simulate in the physics asset. I have made sure that it is not colliding with anything and it almost looks like its still trying to a play the animation after it has ragdolled. My animations are also in a anim bp so I tried giving it a dead state which will play no animation but it still is buggy.
