Radial Force Not Affecting Chaos Destruction

I have created a geometry collection from fence pieces, and have fired a physics sphere at the fence to destroy it. Upon impact, I’m Firing Impulse to a Radial Force.

Once the fence is broken, the radial force affects the broken pieces in a strange way. Either the destroyed pieces completely ignore the Radial Force, or they are pushed by the Radial Force too far- beyond the radius of the force.

I’m made a quick video to show the problem, pieces outside of the radial force (debug sphere) are being pushed by the force, while pieces inside the radial force are not affected at all.

How can I make the radial force push all pieces of the destroyed geometry collection?
