Quixle library

i really hate downloading each object again and again. is there anyway we can copy paste folders? also if not this means we have to redownload each thing again and again with each update or new installation?

Have you tried adding these objects to the "user library"?

You can also make folders in it.

Try it, it might solve the problem...

It would be very useful if it were possible to use a reference file in TM.

Using the reference file allows you to transfer selectable settings from a previous file to the current file.

That is, after I have selected (browsed) the location/name of the reference file on the hard drive, I can choose what to transfer from it :

  • texture with settings (all surfaces with the same name as in the reference file are overwritten with the reference settings)
  • cameras (with all settings: weather, lights etc)
  • added objects
  • light settings

Of the above, the adoption of textures is the most important, as architects typically do not work with more than 10-20 types of materials on external surfaces.

A lot of time could be saved if you didn't always have to start texturing the surfaces from the beginning, you could bring in a previous one (or a sample file that contains all used materials) in one go.

This would be the real solution.

I almost forgot:

Artlantis already knew this 20 years ago.

Well, again: 20 years ago.

Hello ,

Thank you for posting in the community. You can actually create the same library folders for each version and also use a user library.

In the preferences settings > Custom Path can be adjusted to any folder location.
